Our Despatch messenger bag reflects back to days gone by, when a bag was designed to be an item of everyday functional necessity.

We chose our design and materials carefully, with each one guaranteed to develop a stunning vintage patina, and improve with age

• Handmade by craftsmen with leather from a small family run Tuscan tannery, who are renowned for producing the highest quality vegetable tanned leathers. They still use ancient Tuscan methods to produce their high quality leathers, and the nature of the tanning process results in a leather that will develop a fine, mellow patina with age and wear. The tannery focus on sustainability, and waste purification treatment to reduce the environmental impact of the tanning process.

• Hardwearing waxed cotton body from world famous textile mill Halley Stevensons, who have been producing quality waxed fabric since 1864
• Military grade, natural cotton sailcloth lining from renowned British textile manufacturer British Millerain. This fabric was originally used as sailcloth by the British Royal Navy.
• Internal pocket with genuine Talon zipper plus two pockets with brass stud fastening and two internal leather pen loops.
• Storm flaps secured with brass studs.
• Free tin of Halley Stevensons reproofing wax with each bag.
• Size: 375mm wide x 325mm high x 140mm deep.
• Each bag comes in a recycled box, complete with natural cotton dust bag.
